Abstract


AN ANALYSIS OF DİVÂN-I HİKMET WİTHİN THE FRAMEWORK OF “MA’RİFA/İNGENUİTY”, “WİSDOM/HİKMAH” AND “BÂTIN”
2016 was declared as “Ahmed Yasawi” by Unesco. Within this framework, many scientific studies were conducted and scientific sessions, panels, conferences and seminars were held in order to understand Khoja Ahmed Yasawi and to embrace his legacy, both in our country and sister countries in Central Asia. Many studies were done on Yesevi and his various ideas, and we think that there is still a need for studies to evaluate his legacy. Today, we think that the solution of the problems of all Muslims goes through/base upon solid faith, solid deeds/practice and solid spirituality. In order to base these three elements on solid foundations, Maturidism was adopted in faith, Hanafiism was adopted in fiqh/islamic jurisprudence and Yesevism engraved in Sufism both in Anatolia and Central Asia. In this respect, Ahmed Yasawi and his wisdoms have great importance in understanding our autochthonous /ancient tradition and in the construction of our future. Khoja Ahmed Yasawi is one of the pioneers of the spiritual aspect of Islam. He gathered the important values of Islam in his person, became a model with his sincere, merciful/compassionate, patient personality, and the sect of Yasawi which was mentioned by his name spread in a short time. Our greatest wish is to contribute to a better understanding of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, who is etched in in our people’s heart and plays a role in the establishment and spread of the Sufi culture in Anatolia with his ideas. In this article, the most basic concepts of Yasawi,“marifa”, “wisdom” and bâtın/esoteric, are emphasized. At the same time, the correspondence/equivalent of the three most important concepts of the tradition of wisdom / Sufism in the Diwani Hikmet were tried to be examined.
